AR writer publishes Seattle-area hiking guide Asian Reporter writer Andrew Weber is the co-author of a new outdoor guide, 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Seattle. Co-authored with writer Bryce Stevens, the book provides maps, photographs, travel instructions, and descriptions of the tremendous variety of hiking trails in the Seattle area. Each hike description in the book features key information on length, hiking time, difficulty, configuration, scenery, traffic, trail surface, and accessibility. Readers get a detailed trail map, an elevation profile, directions to the trailhead, and trailhead GPS (Global Positioning System) data to familiarize themselves with their destination. Andrew Weber has been exploring the Pacific Northwest for more than a decade, including a solo circumnavigation of the Wonderland Trail at Mount Rainier in 2002. Currently based in Seattle, he works as a web publisher, freelance journalist, and photographer in addition to writing book reviews and other articles for The Asian Reporter. 60 Hikes Within 60 Miles: Seattle is published by Menasha Ridge Press, which has produced over 20 titles in the "60 Hikes" series.
